Just a 20-minute drive from the centre of York sits the former Tanglewood public house, which we restored and renovated in 2015 to create our Yorkshire home. The building retains much of its original character, while inside you’ll find a calm and welcoming space designed to feel like a real home.
Neptune York is home to our full kitchen showroom alongside a wide collection of furniture, lighting and accessories. From handcrafted oak dining tables and cabinetry to sofas, armchairs and storage, each room set also includes thoughtful details such as our always-in-bloom Flower Shop, utility room displays, a snug and office space. Every area is styled to give you inspiration for your own home.

A team of experts
Every person in the Neptune York team has a whole wealth of experience and knowledge. From our store leader, Michael, who’s had an extensive career in retail, to our home specialists, who are experts on all things Neptune, from furniture and accessories to paint and textiles.
Each member of our design team has exceptional insight into interior design. There’s our kitchen designers – Hayley, who has a degree in interior architecture and has worked for Neptune York since we opened in 2015, Katherine, who has years of kitchen design experience and an eye for detail, and Holly, who has worked on projects for both comercial and individual clients, and is also a skilled home designer too.
Our home designer, Leila, started her career with Neptune as a home specialist and has quickly built an extensive list of loyal clients who appreciate her skill for transforming rooms in their dream spaces.
